PCCHA Announces Exciting Event Updates While Maintaining Strong Payouts

The Pacific Coast Cutting Horse Association is looking forward to welcoming competitors to Las Vegas this summer and is excited to share important updates for its upcoming events!

As the cutting horse industry continues to navigate ongoing cattle availability challenges nationwide, PCCHA leadership has taken a proactive approach to ensure its events remain competitive, efficient, and rewarding for exhibitors.

PCCHA Reyzin The Cash Derby – June 5–14, 2026

PCCHA is pleased to confirm that the Reyzin The Cash Derby will take place as scheduled June 5th–14th at the South Point Arena in Las Vegas, NV.

To best utilize available cattle resources while delivering a high-quality show experience, the event format has been streamlined to a one go-round and finals format for all classes. This adjustment allows for an efficient schedule while maintaining the integrity and great payouts that our competitors expect.

To allow time for entries, following the release of schedule and entry forms, the entry deadline has been extended to May 15th. All entries must be received in the office on this day.

PCCHA Holy Cow Performance Horses Futurity – September 21–26, 2026

Looking ahead, the PCCHA Holy Cow Performance Horses Futurity will also see adjustments in response to the same industry-wide challenges, as well as scheduling considerations. The 2026 Futurity will be shortened in duration to ensure efficient operations while preserving the quality and competitiveness that participants expect. We are excited to continue holding the Super Futurity at this event. The dates for the 2026 PCCHA Holy Cow Performance Horses Futurity are September 21st-26th. These updates reflect a forward-thinking approach designed to keep shows running at a high level while adapting to current industry conditions.

Most importantly, all added money will remain in place for both the Reyzin The Cash Derby and the Holy Cow Performance Horses Futurity. We are excited to confirm the Reyzin The Cash incentives will continue to be awarded at each event, reinforcing PCCHA’s commitment to strong payouts and meaningful opportunities for its competitors.

Details, including updated schedules and entry forms, will be communicated as they are finalized.
