Letter to the PCCHA Membership From President Lance Madgwick

 Dear Fellow Members,
Thank you for the opportunity to serve you as the 2010 PCCHA President. The current economy continues to present great challenges in all of our daily lives. The downturn in the economy has been felt through out many sections of the horse industry. With that being said, Wow, what an amazing Futurity show we had! Our entries were off the charts, the stands were supercharged with excitement and the staff, help and volunteers where friendly and attentive. The city of Paso Robles once again greeted us with open arms and all in all it was an event that we can all be proud to be a part of. What a great way to end last year.
Now, let’s keep it going.
As we start this year we all have the opportunity to be an active part of our cutting community. As the dates of the PCCHA’s family reunion, our Convention and year end Awards Banquet, draw near I would like to extend to you a personal invitation to attend. I cannot tell you how much we want you all to be there. The PCCHA is for all cutters in our region. It is not only there for us, but it is us. Please take a couple of days to be a part of planning our future, visit with old and new friends, cheer for our year end champions, and enjoying the great facilities at our host hotel, The Harris Ranch.
As your representative this year, it is my hope that you will consider being involved in your cutting family. There really is no Pacific Coast Association without you. If you have the time and interest to be involved in a committee, call the office and they will get you in touch with the right people. If you feel that you cannot commit the time to serve, but would like to voice your opinion, this is your opportunity. Please don’t waste this chance, come to the convention and share your opinions with the membership, and your Board of Directors, you can help make a difference. I am including my contact information below. If I can be of assistance in getting you hooked up and involved let me know.
