Kellan Ward Scholarship
New PCCHA Scholarship program for 2012!
Announcing the Kellan Ward Memorial Scholarship Fund
|
 The PCCHA Youth Fund Board has approved the creation of a scholarship fund to be established in the memory of PCCHA youth member Kellan Ward. Kellan’s youth cutting career spanned from 2003 to 2007. Kellan earned much recognition for his accomplishments including: 2005 PCCHA Jr. Youth Champion, top 15 in the NCHA Jr Youth Standings, top 10 in the 2006 Senior Youth, and many more. Kellan was a great competitor, a loyal & supportive friend, brother to Tanner & Lauren, son of Mike & Gina Ward and grandson of Al & Astrid Wollenberg. Kellan’s most memorable runs were on Sug N Peppa, the gritty little black mare with Kellan aboard were the ones to beat and the ones to watch. The program will offer financial assistance to PCCHA Youth members for On the Job Training; Internship Programs; Job Shadow training, etc. for select career choices. The funds are being raised from private donations with the hopes to be able to accept applications by Jan 1, 2013.
